Exhibiting at the Canadian Institute of Forestry 2008 AGM and Conference, Fredericton NB, September 7-10, 2008:
On behalf of the organizing committee for the Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF) 100th anniversary and Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference to be held on September 7-10, 2008 at the Delta Hotel in Fredericton, New Brunswick, I invite you to participate as an exhibitor.
The Conference coincides with the 100th anniversary of UNB’s Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management and will be held the same week as a meeting of the Canadian Councils of Resource Ministers and Forest Ministers, all at the Delta. This is an excellent opportunity for business, government agencies and NGO’s to exhibit; as this will be a significant gathering of forestry practitioners.
The theme of the Conference will be "Canada’s Forests – Manage for Change".
The main concepts to be addressed at the Conference will be:
1. Ways to manage to fulfill economic and social values.
2. Intensity of forest management on the ground.
3. How to manage with uncertainty.
Exhibitors will be displaying in a large tent immediately next to the Delta hotel conference rooms and there are a limited number of booths available. Booths will be available for major sponsors, commercial exhibitors and not for profit exhibitors. CIF Conference breaks are planned in the exhibitors venue.
Cost to exhibit is 500.00 for commercial exhibits and 250.00 for not for profit exhibits. Commercial exhibits are also considered bronze leaf sponsors (see sponsors page ) and will have their name and logo displayed in program material and handouts. Exhibitors may purchase delegate packages and/or tickets to individual events, separately, at the time of registration. I invite anyone interested in major sponsorship to review the attached information and to contact Julius Tarjan (Julius.Tarjan@gnb.ca) , or at the mailing addressed attached), for further information regarding such support.
Booth registration and reservation can be done by notifying Jeanne Moore through any of the provided contact methods noted in this letter. This is on a first come first served basis, with major sponsors guaranteed booth space. Expression of interest in booth space is requested at this time, with payment details and any deadlines for payment for space reservation to follow at a later date.
Please provide this information to any in your organization as appropriate who may be interested, and I welcome all questions.
Thank you.
