Northwestern Ontario

Welcome to the Northwestern Ontario Section!

Objective
To ensure our members know and adhere to the Mission by developing local programs and activities to enhance the appreciation of Section and National activities as they seek to promote leadership in forestry and public understanding of important issues that are constantly before the public and profession.

What we Do
The section members and council: put on field tours and speaker presentations for members and public; support college and university students through bursaries and support for ring cermonies, symposiums, and travel to the CIF National AGM; and undertake work parties on various local forestry projects.
